When a garage door spring goes, the whole system stops working. It's one of the most common calls we get - and one of the most important repairs to get right. Springs are under serious tension, and a bad install isn't just inconvenient, it's a safety hazard.

Here's what we were working with on this job. The setup required a full spring replacement, and we went with a double torsion spring configuration mounted across the header board above the door. Two springs instead of one means the load is split evenly across both sides. That balance is what keeps the door running smoothly and reduces stress on the opener motor over time.

We use quality springs on every job - no cheap substitutes. The torsion springs you see here are properly sized for the door weight, correctly wound, and anchored at the center bracket exactly as they should be. Every part of that process matters. Over-wound or under-wound springs wear out faster and can fail without warning.

When we service a door, we're not just dropping in parts and leaving. We check the balance, test the travel, and make sure the opener is working with the springs - not fighting against them. That's the difference between a repair that lasts and one that has you calling again in six months.

Pride in the work isn't a tagline for us. It's just how we operate. A garage door that runs quietly, opens smoothly, and holds up over years of daily use starts with the installation being done correctly from the start.
